THE INGREDIENTS TO MIX WITH A DIET

The scripture of the day is found in Philippians 4:13 (NIV) – I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
This is a great encouraging scripture of how God can help you with your diet!
The Webster dictionary defines a diet as “a regimen of eating and drinking sparingly so as to reduce one’s weight.” But dieting (which is the food part) is not the only part you need to incorporate to lose the weight. You have to mix dieting with a few more ingredients. Here are some of the other ingredients you need along with dieting to help you lose the weight:
- First – Prepare your mind for dieting by praying for strength and wisdom and then set a visual goal for yourself with a date. Put that on a piece of paper or on a vision board that you can look at every day to remind yourself that you are losing the weight.
- Second – Have a variety of things you can do for exercise that are fun to you. There’s no right or wrong in exercising you just have to be consistent with it, which means no excuses for not exercising every day. It doesn’t have to be a full body workout every day it can be as simple as taking the stairs at work instead of the elevator.
- Third – Sometimes you can do all the above and still have that stubborn 5-10 pounds that won’t budge. So I decided to get some help and tried a supplement. There are all kinds of great diet supplements out there to help with weight loss and energy build up, so do your research.
If you put all the ingredients above together and pray to get your mind-set on a goal, find a fun exercise, diet (eating and drinking sparingly) and take a diet supplement, you’re sure to take off the undesired weight!
