Last Call For Vacations!!
Hello All,
The scripture of the day is found in 1 Peter 5:7-8 (KJV) – Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
Today I am talking about how vacationing benefits you.
I think it’s important to take a vacation, every year! The reason you should take a vacation, every year is because it helps the body and mind to detox and rejuvenate. Whether your vacationing with the family, as a couple or alone, it’s a great time to release some of the cares of the world, like:
- Work/School related stress
- Financial concerns
- Hectic schedules
- Family and relationship issues
Setting out on a vacation brings you excitement and anticipation for what’s coming up next. Then once you get to your destination you decide what days you’re going to do water sports, shop or go on an exploring excursion. You can also decide to just sit down on a hammock at the beach with a nice cold drink and do nothing. The great thing about a vacation is you can get all the above done in one trip. Here are some ways you can make your vacation benefit you:
- Relax your mind and body and live stress free for a week or two by getting a spa treatment (my favorite and I highly recommend it).
- You have the option to pay as you go or get an all-inclusive and just start enjoying the destination.
- Take your mind off your regular routine and get out and explore the new culture you are visiting. For example, you can go to a local village and try some authentic food instead of just the hotel food.
- Talk to people as you travel and you might get some great suggestions on things you can do at your destination (Trip Advisor reviews are a great help with this as well) that are worth the money.
- I recommend one day of bonding with nature by checking out sunsets and taking a morning walk on the beach just breathing in that nice clean air.
There is no way you can come back from a vacation like that and not be refreshed, rejuvenated and ready to take on the remaining part of the year. If you’re the boss at a company you should come back from vacation, relaxed and clear on what your next steps will be and if you’re an employee you should come back from vacation relaxed and energized and ready to get the work done.
Summer is almost over, so if you have not already done so, book your vacation today!
My goal is to help you live healthy, mind, body and spirit so you can live your best life!
